Clause 6 amended to add the Chief Caprine Entity to the list of
committee members.
Clause 7 amended - need 5 for quorum instead of 4.
Clause 8h added to list the duties of the Chief Caprine Entity.
Clause 9c altered to add the Chief Caprine Entity to the order of
Elections.
Change in candidate nomination rules:
Clause 9a altered so that candidates now may NOT nominate or second
themselves for election to the Committee.
Changes required to meet Societies Syndicate Rules:
Clause 8c altered to add to the duties of the Secretaries the taking
of minutes of meetings and the presentation of these minutes to the Junior
Treasurer for inclusion with the accounts for yearly audit.
Clause 11a altered: The President shall summon General Meetings and
Committee Meetings.
Clause 11g added: The committee shall meet at least once per term.
Clause 9f added: "Two weeks' written notice of any election must be
given to all current active members."
Addition of computer records clause to hopefully satisfy Data Protection Act requirements
Clause 20 added: "Members who wish to be included in the CURS computer
records must sign a declaration to that effect. New and
repeat-subscription members who have not signed such a declaration will
not necessarily receive CURS newsletters or e-mail."
