============================================================================== Cos|a Vista - Coup Politics in the Banana Republic! --------------------------------------------------- Costa Vista, a land-locked Central American country. Costa Vista, drugs capital of Latin America. Costa Vista, a newly democratic state. Costa Vista... the site for an evening of coup politics. Spend an evening negotiating with and betryaing your closest friends. Become the Naval Chief of Staff, uncover Aztec gold, bankrupt the country building 'Stealth' bombers, assassi~ate your rivals. Drink tequila and wear bad shades... This is an evening of semi-structured live role-playing designed to simulate the atmosphere of Latin American politics. Players take the parts of various glitterati in Costa Vista, an anonymous republic*, NPCs play the parts of foreign ambassadors and other morally uncoruptable agents of civilisatin (the U.S. military advisors, Vatican envoys, the cultural attache of the local CIA branch etc.). Dress code will vary according to character, but generally try to look smart. dark glasses, military regalia, bad jewellery will probably fit most parts. If anyone has military caps they could be useful. Place: Junior Parlour, Trinity. Anyway it all looks good wholesome roleplaying fun, and I'm photocopying a few copies to give out to anyone who wants to playtest it." If you are interested, contact him direct and he'll give you a free copy for playtesting. But you'll have to be quick, as he's off home shortly after Friday the 7th June. ============================================================================== SAM 29/5/96
